See what’s new in the latest SmartMeter.io 1.0.4

SmartMeter.io 1.0.4 has been officially released and apart from a few bug fixes it contains some great new features like enhanced graphs customization, recorder improvements or configurable memory management. Want to know more?

The new version includes SmartMeter core, recorder and configurator improvements. The complete changelog can be found in the documentation.

SmartMeter.io 1.0.4 overview

Core

  • We have made Runner initialization more stable and also fixed thread counting.

  • Profi version only: It is possible to add arguments for generator using command line (e.g., define the communication ports; define wheter the generator is supposed to shut down after the test).

Recorder

  • When working on Linux or OS X you can have Chromium / Chrome already started when you want to record a test script.

  • Recorder is now also able to capture bodies of HTTP PUT requests.

Configurator

  • Improved look on Linux.

  • New configurable -Xmx parameter for generator and controller (virtual machine memory management).

  • It is now much easier to customize graphs in reports including their width, height and other visual settings.
